22nd Annual Chamber Golf Classic Presented By Kingwood Medical Center Planned For April 18

HUMBLE, TX— Plans are underway for the 22nd Annual Lake Houston Area Chamber Golf Classic.

The Annual Golf Classic, presented by Kingwood Medical Center and Texas Emergency Care Center, is the Lake Houston Area Chamber's largest and most popular fundraiser of the year. Golf Committee Chairman Robert Sitton of Edward Jones Investments has planned the tournament for Thursday, April 18 at Kingwood Country Club.

The tournament is a four-person scramble, with prizes awarded for low and net gross in each flight. The tournament will be played on two courses, The Island and The Forest, with a shotgun start at noon.

Entry fees range from $1,000 for a team to $250 for individual players. Each player will receive a $50 gift card to the Nike Pro Shop which will be set up on the course the day of the tournament, lunch and two complimentary tickets to the Party on the Green.

The Annual Party on the Green will follow the tournament on Saturday, April 20. The event will be held in the evening at Kingwood Country Club. Designed to entertain golfers and non-golfers alike, the evening will feature dinner provided by Tony Raffa, music, and a live and silent auction.
