Lake Houston Business Expo & Trade Symposium

The Lake Houston Business Expo presented by Insperity will be held from 11 am to 7 pm on Tuesday, March 27 at the Humble Civic Center.
This inaugural business-to-business event is a project of the Lake Houston Area Chamber created to provide local businesses the opportunity to network and share information about their products and services. The day’s events will feature a business-to-business trade show, seminars, and a trade symposium, as well as a Business After Hours from 5 pm until 7pm hosted by Silversand Services.
Exhibitor booth space is still available for businesses interested in connecting with new prospects. The expo will provide a professional back drop for exhibitors to showcase their goods and services and develop new relationships with area businesses. Exhibitors will also be treated to a free seminar on March 27 which will discuss tips and tricks on how to get the most from their trade show experience. Large companies, institutions and government entities will participate in the Trade Symposium, sponsored by New York Life, which is scheduled for two, two-hour session beginning at 11 am and 2 pm. These institutions will be on-hand to discuss their purchasing needs and available contracts, one-on-one, with the businesses in attendance. They will also provide information about opportunities they have for certified minority-owned and women-owned to do business with them.
Free seminars are also planned throughout the day with a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Certification Training class planned at 1 pm and a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) Certification Training Class at 4 pm.
The Lake Houston Business Expo will conclude with at Business After Hours sponsored by Silversand Services at 5 pm. This networking event allows professionals to connect with their peers in a relaxed setting. Attendees can enjoy food, drinks, door prizes and a cash bar as they meet and mingle with new prospective clients and share information with each other about their business.
